Walkthrough (walkthroughapp.io) is operated by NTREC LLC, 2 Blue Slip, Brooklyn, NY 11222. It records an apartment's condition at move-in and move-out for the property manager and the tenant, and prepares the security deposit statement.
What we collect
- From your property manager: your name, unit, lease dates, deposit, mobile number and email
- From you: inspection photos, your notes and condition ratings, your typed signature, your responses to the statement, and payout details if a refund is owed
- Technical details needed to keep records reliable: device identifier (hashed), IP address and browser at signing
How we use it
- To run the inspection, compare move-in and move-out photos, and prepare the deposit statement and letters the law requires
- To send you the links and notices for your tenancy by email, and by text if you agreed to texts (see SMS terms)
- To pay any refund to you
Who sees it
Your property manager and their staff. Service providers that run the service for us (hosting, database, email, text messaging, and AI image comparison) process it only to provide the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers or text opt-in data with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Inspection records are kept as long as your property manager needs them for the tenancy and any dispute, as the law allows. Bank details for a payout are deleted after the payment is made.
